A delicate classic cup form finished with a tall foot. Cornish stoneware with a black iron wash glaze, that’s been wood fired with soda.

The bold, dark iron wash / tenmoku creates a sense of weight and substance to the vessel whilst giving amazing deep blue and purple or rust tones with a matt metallic surface and soft shine, the overall surface, a depth of tone and textural quality, most notably the finer granular corrugations that blend and complement to great effect, and in places the subtle orange peel effect creating a very unique detail.

Each handmade and unique, therefore slight variations in shape, size and glaze will occur. Handwash recommended.
