The effects are similar to a Nanban wood firing. Holding beautifully in the hands with with a smooth, gently tactile feel of the clay and soft sheen. Handwash recommended.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eYoko Romita is based in Southampton producing stoneware pieces from her home studio, her work has a real understated presence to it, allowing the beauty of the natural clay to fully appreciated.
