A darker Oolong produced in northeast Taiwan, sitting on the borderline between Oolongs and Black Teas. As this tea far more similar in appearance to a black tea than that of a traditional Oolong. With short 'fine', wood bark coloured leaves and greenish grey tips. The wet leaves giving a sweet fragrant aroma reminiscent of berries with a rich depth. Reddish brown colour in the cup, A long fragrance in the taste, rounded, soft sweetness with slight, higher greenish notes.
