Low Slung Teapot // by Popalini & Jezando
Hand Thrown in Devon
Approximate measuremnets: 17cm width x 13cm height (incl. handle). 800ml.
This impressively striking and unique stoneware teapot has been beautifully formed from Cornish clay, decorated with a gunmetal wood ash glaze. The bold, dark glaze creates a sense of weight and substance to the piece whilst giving a deep matt black and stone grey tones with a smooth satin shine. The flat base reveals complimentary burnt orange hues of the unglazed clay. The low slung style and form, with it’s sleek straight walls and low profile is expertly minimalistic and very stylish indeed. From its fine lid with formed apex, delicately tapered spout, to its slender handcrafted hammered brass handle, creating a perfect balance.
Each handmade and unique, therefore slight variations in shape, size and glaze will occur. Handwash recommended.
