Beautiful blending of tenmoku character, a base layer of tones reminiscent of persimmon kaki tones with an expressive, drippy layer of darker tones, blacks, light browns and sharp electric blues with a feathering appearance and soft shine. A highly visual piece with a decent weight and proportion.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eEach handmade and unique, therefore slight variations in shape, size will occur. Handwash recommended.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eMichel Pierre François is a French artist potter currently based in Falmouth, Cornwall working in porcelain and using his own glazes crafted using feldspar, Cornish stone and ash from local trees. He has a deep appreciation for the ancient forms of China, Korea and Japan and a passion for their rich tea cultures.
