The tea is organically grown!

Short, deep green, flat pressed and steamed leaves. A most pleasing bright to pale green cup. Fine aromas of buttery, pear and grassy notes.  Savoury hints and green grassy notes to taste. With a long lasting sweetness.

Uji is thought to be the oldest tea producing region in Japan. It is thought that during the 12th century, the monk Eisai brought tea seeds from China to Japan.
