Hand Thrown in Devon
Approximate measurements 12cm height x 8.5cm width x 8.5cm base.
Formed with a barrel like shape that gives a robust and rustic feel. Good proportion to the form being wider and more compact with a wide foot ring. Crafted from Cornish stoneware clay that’s been gas fired with soda. Creating large warm flashes of rich orange tone and earthy browns blending into an area of greenish greys and intricate textural detail. The surface has an overall smooth feel with a fine roughness on areas of soda. An inset lid reveals a decent size opening to a light blue glazed interior with fine glassy crackle. Ideal for storing any style of tea leaf you choose.
Each handmade and unique, therefore slight variations in shape, size and glaze will occur. Handwash recommended.
