Hand Thrown in Devon
Approximate measurements: 8.5cm height x 11cm width (13.5cm incl. handle). 300ml.
Skilfully and carefully crafted from stoneware Cornish clay and woodfired in the Anagama kiln at Kigbeare, Devon. Created with an excellent form, balanced weight and proportions.
A beautifully fine tea cup with a wide form bowl, high foot and thin lip giving it a very delicate feel. The large loop handle and form makes it so comfortable to hold and cradle in the hand. We particularly enjoy the smooth texture and soft shine of the surface - decorated with a bright and vibrant Shino, giving a pale stone greys and toasty peach tones with fine crackle and flecks. The foot ring is very tactile and pleasing with a detailed granular feel. Exquisite quality!
Each handmade and unique, therefore slight variations in shape, size and glaze will occur. Handwash recommended.
