This tall yunomi holds comfortably in the hand due to the height of its sides and great form, the faceted form is so tactile and satisfying, with an excellent balance of weight and proportion.

Crafted from Cornish stoneware clay that’s been fired with soda. Creating a blending of greenish grey tones with flashes of orangey browns and fine crackle.

An intricate surface with a pitted feel, orange peel texture, fine granular details and angular cuts creating the faceted sides, yet overall smoothness. Inside, greenish grey tones continue with fine crackle within the surface. A beautiful form.

Each handmade and unique, therefore slight variations in shape, size and glaze will occur. Handwash recommended.

Bob Andrew is a South Devon based avocational potter. Working with clay since 2017, having studied with and worked alongside fellow Devon ceramicist ~ Cliff Ellis. Bob creates functional hand thrown stoneware pieces from his hand built kiln. Producing skilfully crafted work, full of unique intricate details and rustic charm.
