We're working to develop our small series of tea events; tea tasting, tea ceremony, mini workshops, tea education in our shop space, as well as collaborations with friends in their interesting and beautiful spaces。

Sunday 13th September 2026 12 till 4pm Tea at The Flea :

We kindly invite you to join Exeter Tea Friends first ever meet up at the Fore Street Flea Market ~ come along anytime, it's free. 

Offering a lovely opportunity to share, brew and learn more with an emphasis on east asian teas and gong fu style brewing. Please join our long table set up in the market outside our shop, we welcome everyone for a very casual drop in session. Bring with you, your own tea leaves, teawares and flask* to brew for yourself and share your teas with other like minded Tea Friends. (*we will provide hot water)

Sunday 27th September 2026 12 till 2pm An Autumn Tea Gathering : Featuring teas to celebrate the season, follow the mountain path, Teas from Japan & Taiwan with a focus the new 2026 harvests. This is a free event but please reserve a space, booking will become available 3 weeks prior to the event.

Sunday 30th August 2026 Dartmoor Outdoor Festival, A Temporary Tea House : Opening between 11.30 - 3.30. Enjoy a Dartmoor walk starting at Princetown, follow a map to discover the Tea House and join us for a seasonal tasting of fine whole leaf teas. Please allow approximately 2-3 hours to enjoy both walking & tea. Last service 2.30.

Sunday 14th June 2026 12 till 2pm A Summer Tea Gathering : Featuring teas to celebrate the season, taste the rainbow, from white tea to puerh with a focus on the new teas from the 2026 harvests. This is a free event but please reserve a space, booking will become available 3 weeks prior to the event.

Monday 4th May 2026 from 11am A Hanami 花見 Celebration at Ide Community Orchard : Join us this bank holiday weekend for flower viewing, shamisen music by Hachiko, folk songs by Lily Ballard, Japanese patisserie from Kanako & tea by us.

London Tea Friends Summer Tea Festival 2025 at Lincoln's Inn Fields, London.

This is a not-for-profit & free event that will take place outdoors at Lincoln's Inn Fields in a picnic style tea house environment with scheduled events throughout the day. At the heart of the Summer Tea Festival, there will be tea tastings, workshops, + conversations hosted by leading tea industry figures from London & around the UK on a variety of topics. The festival aims to create a relaxing atmosphere for attendees to mingle, chat + have tea in a friendly & fun environment. They will also be encouraging people to brew & share tea amongst each other.

As a not-for-profit community group & a free to attend event, they are raising money for the event through donations + merch options. So please consider supporting through these channels in order to create an even more exciting event. Your generous contributions will make all the difference.
