This tea is organically grown!
Large long & twisted leaves with dark, greyish & golden tones, light orchid and camphor aromas. The damp leaves have a greener appearance giving powerful floral aromas. The tea soup is a light, clear golden colour with a smooth full flavour of floral notes and big orchid tones, touches of grapefruit and a nuttiness, enjoying a long lasting floral sweetness. A beautiful tea!
Harvested in Spring 2020, at approximately 400m elevation, picking 2-3 half matured leaves using a Shui Xian cultivar from the wild tea bushes of Phoenix Mountain more than 80 years old, lightly roasted and charcoal baked traditional processes by Tea Master Song Lin & family.
‘Dan Cong' meaning Single Bush, traceable back to a single bush/tree or group of bushes/trees.
