Bob’s Sodafired Jugs, skilfully crafted from Cornish clay that’s been gasfired with soda creating extremely interesting effects and texture. Beautiful to use as a daily household jug or as a gong dao bei for a tea table with more of a rustic feel. There are two available:
1 ~ Is a slightly straighter form with a narrow spout and looped handle. It has a bright feel, warming orange tones blending with stone grey soda patterns that create a classic ‘orange peel’ smooth texture with fine clay inclusions and crackle.
2 ~ Is the slightly larger capacity of the two with a rounded spout and very comfortable handle. It has a bright feel with yellow tones blending with stone grey and greens from a serious amount of soda effect, creating amazing patterns and smooth texture with fine clay inclusions and crackle.
Handmade and unique. Handwash recommended.
