This tea is organically grown!
For many years this type of Oolong is a firm household favourite in China. Giving a smooth, mellow and deep tea soup. Holding flavours like hints of moss, a woody feel and bamboo leaf freshness. This tea is suitable for aging, over time the tea liquor it would create is mellow and sticky like rice water.
The Tian Xin yan area is where this tea grows translated as Heavens Heart Rock. The age of this Shui Xian garden and its tea bushes is about 60 years old.
Harvested in Spring '19 by the Chen Family. The leaves have then undergone a 3 times medium roasted bake following traditional charcoal roasting techniques using litchi wood, each roast lasting between 16-22 hours, being carefully and skilfully processed over June/July '19 in Wuyishan.
