This tea is organically grown!
Large gently twisted and curled leaves with dark rich tones and beautifully balanced fragrances of light pine wood and char. The delicate tea soup is of bright high clarity and a warming orange colour, with flavours of longan fruit, rosin and wood, alongside the rounded smokiness, finishing with sweetness and a long lasting flavour.
Harvested Spring’22 from tea trees of the Cai Cha cultivar that are between 20 and 30 years old. Grown at around 500m within the Wuyishan Nature reserve from an area of lush diversity and pure ecological surroundings. Following traditional pine tree smoking and roasting techniques, carefully and skilfully processed, by the Chen Family.
