This is a high quality second flush leaf, short tightly twisted leaves with flecks of golden tips. A bright bronze colour to the cup, decent strength and maltiness to taste with aromatic undertones. It is thought to have comparisons to a golden Yunnan black tea.

Kaproret Estate, located close to the Southwestern Mau National Reserve in the highland Rift Valley region. Cultivating hybrid tea bushes from the Chinese var. Sinensis sinensis grown at 6000+ft. Producing small harvest yields of high quality tea through ethical practices. The leaves are then processed in a group of nearby tea factories bordering the Kericho and Bomet Counties.

Brew Guide Per Cup:

Tea 1 teaspoon (3g)

Water 100ºc // 300ml

Brew time 2-3 minutes

Reinfuse leaves to personal taste
