We are very pleased to receive more Botanicals for Gathered + Grown, this time around they have introduced some familiar favourites to their offerings, as pure, single herbs.

A quality aromatic leaf with bright, high aromas of menthol freshness - the damp leaves giving verdant colour and increased vibrancy of aromas, clean, crisp spearmint tones, brewing a bright golden infusion that has excellent clarity, clean and fresh character with delicious and revitalising flavour. Beneficial as an evening drink or after dinner.

All locally & naturally grown (free from chemicals and without peat) - harvested by hand, solar dried & hand blended by Gathered & Grown, Ceri & Ben Richards on their sustainable and regenerative five acre family-run herb farm in East Devon. Establishing on this site in 2022, they are dedicated to growing naturally through such practices as no dig methods and are passionate about creating further wildlife habitats and enriching and increasing biodiversity. Their commitment to this approach has gained them local and regional recognition with multiple awards for sustainability.

Spearmint, Mentha spicata, is a herbaceous plant with a pink and white flower that is part of the Lamiaceae family, Mint, Sage or Deadnettle family. Similar to that of Rosemary, Basil or Thyme. That naturally grow across Europe, North America, Asia and much of the world. It has been recognised as a source of menthol and menthone and is one of the ancient herbs used for culinary and medicinal uses. Spearmint is well known to aid digestion and help as a relaxant, also subtle pain relief effects.

Brew Guide Per Cup:
Tea 1 teaspoon (3g)
Water 100*c // 300ml
Brew time 3-5 minutes
Reinfuse leaves a second time / to personal taste.
