The tea soup is a clear, bright green colour, with a full bodied mouthfeel, fragrant flavour of orchid, ripe fruits and gentle sweetness. Giving a deep feeling, that’s lasting on the palate. A tea that satisfies.

Shan Lin Xi translates to something like ‘Pine Forest Stream’ evoking the high mountain environment.This mountain area is part of a group of multiple mountain peaks which is currently Taiwan’s most famous tea production region, which spans from Alishan in the southwest to Lishan in the central north.

This tea is grown at an elevation of 1,400m, the tea leaves here grow extra slowly, shrouded in cloud mist all year, with an average temperature below 20ºc which lets more complex chemical compounds to develop & in turn creates a sweeter flavours & higher aromas + higher levels of L-theanine.

This tea is a hand picked harvest in Winter, grown from the Qing Xin (Green Heart) cultivar. The leaves have then undergone processing following traditional techniques by Tea Master Zeng & Family in Nantou County.
