Hand Thrown in Devon
Approximate measurements: 8.5cm height x 8cm width (incl.handle 12cm). 300ml.
We have a selection of stunning mugs from Bob, skilfully crafted using Cornish stoneware clay that’s been gas fired with soda with a variety of slips, creating very unique and complex effects and combinations of tone and texture. Very functional size and proportions.
A rounder, slightly flared mug with large patterns from soda. Creating a smooth ‘orange peel’ texture with silvery dark tones and glassy greys across the surface - an amazing metallic shine! - with warming tan tones around the handle. Intricate stoney greys and fine inclusions band around the lip and continue inside with a fine crackle. So satisfying and comfortable to hold.
Each handmade and unique, therefore slight variations in shape, size and glaze will occur. Handwash recommended.
