Hand Thrown in Devon
Approximate measurements: 7.5cm height x 6 cm width. 120ml.
A stunning woodfired stoneware Yunomi, its taller form inspired from Pop & Jez’s residences in Japan, a form that has an understated quality that’s very satisfying to hold. The shino glaze flows through coppery, peachy tones blending with a milky white wash and earthy areas with a soft shine, crackle and natural clay on the base and foot. Creating a smooth surface and delicate shape that sits perfectly in the hand. These are an absolute joy to use and admire!
Fired at Kigbeare’s Anagama Kiln, Devon.
Each handmade and unique, therefore slight variations in shape, size and glaze will occur. Handwash recommended.
