Collection: Japanese Tea

Our Japanese partners share our immense joy and passion for tea, working together since 2019, as an independent tea farm they champion Japanese tea and are visionary in promoting quality Japanese tea internationally。

Based in Wazuka, a tea town in the southeastern area of Kyoto Prefecture, the area is famed as a tea growing location since the Kamakura period and a main producer following Uji tea processing methods。

It is thought that the nearby KaijΕ«sen-ji temple introduced tea to the area and the Zen Buddhist monk, Shonin Jishin was the first to cultivate tea on Mt Jubu and then later in Wazuka。
